Code of Conduct for Pharmacy Students

  1. The College working hours are from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days except holidays.
  2. Students should wear uniforms (dress code) on all working days except on Thursday.
  3. The College Identity Card (I-Card) is compulsory in campus, otherwise, disciplinary action will be taken.
  4. As per the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) a Minimum 80% of Attendance for lectures & practical’s is compulsory for each subject (course).
  5. Attendance will be strictly observed. Students not following with 80% attendance till sessional exams and at the end of the year/semester will not be allowed to appear for the sessional exam and finally for university exams.
  6. Students should not remain absent, except for any valid reason. A student remaining absent will have to take prior written permission/produce leave notes/ medical certificates/ phone calls by parents giving satisfac tory reasons.
  7. RAGGING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN COLLEGE PREMISES. IF FOUND GUILTY STRICT ACTION WILL BE TAKEN.
  8. Use of MOBILE Phone in any form is not allowed in college premises or it should be in Switched Off mode during college hoursIf usage of mobile is found, it will be collected by staff in his/her cus tody and necessary action shall be taken. However, the use of mobile will be allowed only for online exams, university exam form filling or scholarship registration.
  1. Students are advised to take care of his/her belongings and the college will not be responsible for books, money, mobile, or articles that are lost.
  2. Student(s) should carry a respective subject journal, record book, practical continuous assessment book for each practical. Student(s) should complete the journals in the respective labora tory, reading rooms, or common rooms only, immediately after completion of the experiment.
  3. Student/s should complete both theory and practical continuous assessment (CAS) as per the timetable/schedule given by the exam section and/or subject in charge.
  4. Students should not gather and chat during academic sessions unnecessarily in corridors. They should be present in their respective class or labora tory or library.
  5. Students participating in various activities during college hours should take permission from the class teacher or concern faculty.
  6. Students are advised to read the notices regularly, so as not to miss any important information.
  7. Students should not discriminate on the basis of religion, caste, and sex etc.
  8. Students are expected to conserve water, electric power, gas etc.
  9. Students are expected to maintain their academic integrity. Cheating and plagiarism are violations of that standard.
  10. Students should keep their parents informed regularly about their performance on studies and other problems, if any.
  11. Students are advised to pay the college/hostel fees dues well in time.
  12. Value the college environment by not dropping litter, or damaging college furniture or buildings.
  13. The sole aim of students is studies and overall development of a balanced personality, so as to compete for better opportunities in their professional careers.
  14. Chewing of tobacco/ smoking and use of alcohol/drugs or other nicotine products are strictly prohibited in college premises
  15. Students should park their vehicles only in the specified parking zone allotted to them.
  16. Keep college campus clean and create a congenial atmosphere and environment conducive for studies. Every student should use dustbins to dispose of waste materials.
  17. Students are strictly instructed to turn off taps and electric appliances after use, any damage to the college property shall be penalized.
  18. Students should not behave in any manner which may harm the dignity of any other individual in the college
  19. Students should not create any disturbance in the academic, administrative, sports, social or other activities either in the college campus or outside in the community.
  20. College restricts to distribute, displaying, or publish any unauthorized material, which may be in the form of a poster, notice, signature campaign, or electronic or Internet posting.
  21. Any type of misconduct during industrial visits and educational tours arranged by the college will be dealt with serious disciplinary action.
  22. Any misbehaviour by the students with other students or college staff will not be permitted and is liable for punishment like fine, detention for few days or even permanent rustication from college.
